Based on a poll result I asw a few days ago, below are some favorite photo-sharing sites:
1.
FlickrThis one got the most votes. The company is just acquired by the Internet giant Yahoo! So now it's a Yahoo! company. However, a free account has it's limitations. The monthly bandwidth is 20MB. That means you can only upload up to 20MB photos per month. To be fair, generally it's enough for just photo sharing if you don't wanna print. Even you can store as many photos as you like in the flickr server, only the most recent 200 can be showed. And only 3 photo sets can be created under a free account.
2.
PicasaThe company has been acquired by another Internet giant Google. Actually, it's a photo sharing software intead of a web site. You can't store any photo in it. All the photos are still stored locally on your hard disk. It's more like a photo organizer. They do have their own unique features. You can use picasa to share photo with friends easily; you can blog a photo; you can make gift CD and so forth.
3.
ShutterflySeems like there is no storage limitation on this site. You can upload as many photos as you like.
Below are some I used.
1.
Yahoo! PhotosThere is no storage limitation. The functions are relatively simple comparing with the photo sharing sites above. I am using this one since it's integrated with many other Yahoo! services.
2.
WebshotsStorage limitation
3.
